About us
coastal craft design is a family run business located on the beautiful North Wales coast.
We created our range of bathroom products because we are passionate about all things handmade and wanted to share them with you. From choosing the fragrance and colour to packing it all up ready to post to our lovely customers, both locally and in the rest of the UK, we love it all.
As a brand, we are vegan friendly (unless otherwise stated), cruelty and paraben free using PVC free film wrap on our soaps, always striving to be plastic free where possible. At present we are 95% compostable and recyclable.
I make all products on site, with the goats milk soap being made with it’s own equipment so there is no cross contamination.
Having had a background in retail and skin therapy for the last few decades, I have been able to transfer my skills and knowledge to the new business.
Coastal Craft Design gets its inspiration from the beauty of North Wales and it’s coastline, and we promote North Wales at every opportunity.
I hold the relevant legal documents called CPSR’s (Cosmetic Product Safety Report) to make & sell my products in the UK. This means that a detailed safety assessment has been conducted by a qualified cosmetic chemist or toxicologist to ensure that my products meet the high safety standards required.
I am also proud to be a member of ‘The Guild of Craft Soap & Toiletry Makers’.
about our soaps
Our hand poured soaps are SLS, paraben and palm oil free, vegan friendly (unless otherwise stated) and cruelty free. The high glycerin content of our soaps provides a pleasant moisturising effect on the skin. All Ocean Wave Soaps are available in Goats Milk for those with sensitive skin for example : eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. Goats milk contains naturally occurring vitamins such as Vit E which can help to heal the skin and reduce scars. That along with it’s known natural anti inflammatory agent, makes it a great comfort on your skin.
About Me
For those who don’t know me, I’m Amy and along with my lovely mum, we created Coastal Craft Design back in March 2021
I left the North East and ventured to London where I lived for 12 fantastic years. Sadly due to Covid and a change in my job, I decided to move to the sunny North Wales coast. Lots of conversation and wine later, we decided to jump on the gifting bandwagon and share with you our gorgeous smelly soaps.
During our 1st year, we expanded our small business to include a range of bathroom botanics, in the 2nd year we introduced our vegan friendly hand & foot balms which have now become one of our hero products. Our 3rd & 4th year have seen the launch of a new beard care range, shampoo bar and face mask.
